Thanksgiving Towns

Those of you in the United States will be celebrating Thanksgiving on November 22nd, so in recognition of that happy occasion, Twelve Mile Circle offers you a guide for your holiday feast.

No Thanksgiving is complete without Turkey, so we offer several choices on the menu: Turkey in Texas, North Carolina, Arkansas and West Virginia; and Turkey City in Pennsylvania.

And to round out your plate with all the trimmings.

  • Cranberry, Pennsylvania
  • Pumpkin, Texas & Pie, West Virginia
  • Corn, Oklahoma & Cobb, Georgia
  • Bean City, Florida
  • Cornucopia, Wisconsin

I’ve actually been to one of these towns: Cornucopia, Wisconsin. It’s home to Siskiwit Falls and just south of the Mawikwe Sea Caves.

Whatever Strange Geography you find yourself traveling through this Thanksgiving, I hope you have a happy journey and best of luck with the traffic.
