"Former Resident Recently Married In Shreveport. The friends and relatives of the former Edith CARAWAY HULL of Logansport will be interested to know that she was recently married to Joseph F. REGAN, originally of Waltham, Massachusetts. They were joined in marriage in a double ring ceremony by the Reverend R. F. COOKE in the parlor of the Broadmoore Methodist Church Shreveport, Louisiana, at 3:00 o'clock p. m., June 20th. Attendants for the most impressive ceremony were: Mrs. Edmund MAZYCK, Mrs. A. E. JOHNSON, sisters of the bride; Dr. Lamar CARAWAY, the bride's brother, and his wife, Mrs. Lamar CARAWAY; and William Oliver HULL, son of Mrs. REGAN by a former marriage. The bride is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. R. W. CARAWAY, former residents of Logansport, and is well known here, where she attended high school. Later she attended Gulf Park College and K. S. A. C. at Manhatten, Kansas, where she studied piano and voice... The groom is a member of the armed services, being at the present time Master Sergeant, Director of Entertainment for Enlisted Personnel and Supervisor of the Barksdale Field Service Center. M-Sgt. REGAN has spent a total of 23 years in the Armed Services, the greater part of his service being in the South, and in the Territory of Hawaii. He is a musician by profession, having played with various bands and orchestras in this country, and during his 10 year stay in Hawaii. The couple will be at home at 291 Atlantic Avenue, Shreveport."
