"Ida WILLENBOCKEL Dies Last Night At Advanced Age. Mrs. Ida WILLENBOCKEL, widow of Henry WILLENBOCKEL, one-time well known building contractor here, died last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John WURTZLER, 224 Margaret street. Death came peacefully to the aged woman and followed complications due to advanced years. She died at 7:30 o'clock. Born Ida HUMBOLDT, she was a native of Germany. She was born July 23, 1860, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert HUMBOLDT. She came to the United States with her parents and the family settled in the town of Emmet. She had lived in this community practically all her life. She married Mr. WILLENBOCKEL in Watertown October 18, 1884. Besides the one daughter, there are two sons, Leonard, this city; and Theodore, Chippewa Falls. There are eight grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs. Martha WHEELER, Chicago; and Mrs. August NITZ, Green Bay also survive. Mrs. WILLENBOCKEL was well known in the community, especially among the older residents. In recent years she had been more or less living in retirement. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran church and of the Ladies' Aid society. The funeral is to be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Nowack funeral home, with services at 2 o'clock in St. Mark's church. Interment will be in the Lutheran cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home to pay their respects Friday from 3 to 9 p. m. and Saturday up to the hour of the service."
