From Page 163: "Augusta SANITER first married Bernhardt SENDELBACH in Germany. They had children in Germany and brought them to America where other children were born. Bernhardt died leaving her with four children... According to a genealogy of Leona Saniter Henschel prepared by Vicky Schlintz, Augusta immigrated to America in 1887 with her brother Charles. We had been told various times from way back that Charles arrived at the age of 14 by himself. It is assumed that Augusta's husband, Bernhardt SENDELBACH, and the children they had at that time came at the same time Augusta came, as well as her mother, Louisa EIFFERT SANITER... [Augusta SANITER] then married August KRUEGER of Ashippun, a widower with 4 more small children: August, Louis, Bertha who married a BORNFLEITE, and Clara who married a LUEDTKE. August KRUEGER was buried in the country cemetery near Ashippun along side his first wife.
