"City Teacher's Mother Dies. Mrs. C. H. WOOD, 87, died at 6:20 p.m. Friday in a Wichita Falls rest home. She was the mother of Estelle WOOD, a teacher at Wichita Falls High School. Mrs. WOOD was born Willie CASTLEBERRY July 23, 1877 near Nashville, Tenn. and came to Windom, Tex., as a small child. She married in 1896 and lived in Fannin County until 1945 when she moved to Wichita Falls to live with her daughter. Services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday from Hampton-Vaughan Funeral Home chapel with Paul McCLUNG, minister of the Faith Village Church of Christ, officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Honey Grove, Tex., cemetery. Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. D. C. GILBREATH of Windom, and a nephew, J. Rodney WHEELER of Amarillo, Tex."
