- Probably came to the United Stated in 1887, at the same time as his sister Augusta SANITER SENDELBACH (and husband & children), and his widowed mother, Louisa EIFFERT SANITER.
- Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter were special times at the house, with roasted goose and ducks for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and veal roast for Easter.
- Had been ill for three years with cancer prior to passing away.
