"Thomas M. O'CONNOR, 90, District Government employee for 46 years, died Sunday in Providence Hospital, leaving 73 direct descendants. He lived at 6302 60th ave., Riverdale Heights, Md., for the last two years but had resided for many years at 314 South Carolina ave. se. A native of County Limerick, Ireland, Mr. O'CONNOR came to the United States in 1886 and had lived in this area for the last 72 years. He retired as foreman in the Sewer Department of the District Government 20 years ago. Mr. O'CONNOR is survived by seven daughters, Anna V. MURPHY, of the home address; Mary A. ALBERT, Riverdale, Nellie C. REEVES, Hyattsville; Kathleen D. COLES, Timonium, Md.; Camille M. HOWDER, Hyattsville; Margaret T. McCARTHY, Chevy Chase; and Madeline L. JOYCE, Sharpsville, Pa. Also surviving are two sons, Maurice R., 4903 11th st. ne., and Thomas E., 4952 Sargent rd. ne.; a brother, Timothy M. O'CONNOR, Avondale, Md.; 29 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. A requiem mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Riverdale. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery."
