George F. SYLVESTER, born in Wells, Maine, 19 years old voluntarily enlisted as a private in the New Hampshire militia on August 12, 1862 for a period of three years. He had gray eyes, light hair, light complexion, and a height of five feet ten. Franklin SYLVESTER certified that he was the parent of George F. SYLVESTER and that he was 19 years of age.
