Reason for Visit: We were visiting Bend, Oregon for eight nights and decided to visit every brewery and brewpub in town, eventually accomplishing every stop on the legendary Bend Ale Trail.

Exterior: We decided to stop by 10 Barrel Brewing during our jaunt along the Bend Ale Trail. We probably spent less time here than any other brewery in Bend and that's a shame because I enjoyed the beer I sampled in the brief period we were here. We showed up at 6:00 pm on a Tuesday which ordinarily would seem to be a fairly safe time to arrive. However, the place was absolutely packed. Forget about parking at the brewpub or on a nearby street. We could only find a spot several blocks away. |

Bar: It looks like there's room here although that's deceiving. Every table was taken, the bar was filled to capacity and a huge line had already formed for open spots. Our only option was to grab a quick couple of pints from the bar and sit on a side patio accommodating the overflow. We downed a quick pint and headed to our next location on the ale trail. Better luck next time? |
