Reason for Visit: I was in town on business. This location of the brewpub in downtown Indianapolis featured a nice lunchtime crowd of well-dressed local businesspeople. It is now closed, apparently.

Front of Coaster: The Alcatraz Brewing Co. logo is printed on an oval coaster in three colors. It includes the slogan "Best Beer Behind Bars" in a narrow band below the brewery name. |

Back of Coaster: The reverse gets more interesting. It includes a drawing of a high-speed drill which, going along with the Alcatraz theme, is described as a "break-out tool.". In an arc along the top it includes the slogan "Make Haste to Alcatraz ... It's Nice Inside. Finally along the bottom it lists three locations; Denver, Indianapolis and Tempe. |

Glassware: The Alcatraz pint glass is very similar to the front of the coaster, even down to the beading pattern around the perimeter of the top of the glass. The reverse side is blank with the exception of the beading. |

Fermenters: Well, there was plenty of other tanks visible too. I think these were ones visible from the vestibule as one first enters the restaurant (but my memory is getting a little fuzzy on that point). |
