NOTES PROVIDED IN THE ERLENKOTTER FAMILY RECORDS:

"The Western Repository and Gennesee Advertiser of Wednesday, 30 March 1813, reports the deaths of Nathan WESCOTT, age 55 years, and Obadiah WESCOTT, age 30 years, at Farmington, NY. On 18 May 1813 Amaziah WESCOAT was appointed as the administrator of the estate of his late brother Obadiah WESCOAT, who had died intestate [Ontario County Letters of Administration, Book 6, pp. 289-290]."

"The inventory of the estate of Obadiah Wescoat, late of Farmington, Ontario County, NY, dated the 29th of the 5th month in 1813, includes an amount of $50.00 due from the heirs of Nathan WESCOAT."
