"Flora RECKNER Taken By Death. Former Resident Ill Two Weeks; Funeral Friday. Mrs. Flora RECKNER, a former Watertown resident who lived at 805 Dodge Street, died yesterday afternoon in the Jefferson Hospital following an illness of two weeks. She left Watertown eight years ago after residing here for 37 years. She was the widow of Henry RECKNER who died in 1951. She was the former Flora ZEIDLER, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred ZEIDLER, and was born in the town of Farmington on Nov. 26, 1868. She and Mr. RECKER were married in 1893. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. James THEDE, New Holstein, Wis., two grandchildren, Lloyd RECKNER, this city, and Mrs. Raymond VICK, route 1; six great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Hattie WITMAN, Faribault, Minn., and Mrs. Ed OLSTINSKI, Marshfield. Mrs. RECKERN was preceded in death by a son, Oscar. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. A. S. CHRISTENSEN officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the Hafemeister Funeral Home here Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m. and up to 10 a.m. on Friday and at the church beginning at 11 a.m."
