"SAMUEL COBB (Jonathan -2, Henry -1)... married, possibly at Middleboro, pre 5 March 1708/9 [birth 1st child], ABIGAIL { }. Abigail died at Falmouth, Maine... Her age at death, if accurate would place her birth at ca. 3 July 1686. It has been suggested that she was the daughter of James STEWART & Desire {?TOBEY} who was born at Sandwich, 4 June 1692. Note that the will of James STEWART, dated 26 December 1723, leaves £5 to daughter Abigail - but her surname is not given."
