Tuesday at the Pike Avenue Baptist Church, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Brown in charge. Surviving are his widow; seven daughters, Mrs. Edward SPECHT, of Talladega, Mrs. C. C. MILLER, Mrs. C. M. WALKER, Mrs. T. C. PHARLIAN, Mrs. J. H. CLAYTON, Mrs. H. F. ALEXANDER and Miss Leta McGAUGHY, all of Birmingham; three sons, W. S. McGAUGHY, James L., Jr., and Lloyd F.
