"Mrs. Ida McLEOD, 87, resident of Glidden since 1900, died at her home there about 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 17. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Presbyterian Church in Glidden, the Rev. Duane E. HEAP officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery. The body is at the Huffman Funeral Home in Glidden, where friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday. Mrs. McLEOD was born at Clarence Oct. 18, 1873, coming to Glidden in 1900. She was a daughter of Frazel and Samantha Anne SMITH. On Dec. 3, 1890, she married George McLEOD at Clarence. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, the Temperance Society, and a 51-year member of the Sorosis Club of Glidden. Sorosis Club members are asked to attend funeral services in a group. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Harriet MEYERS, Glidden; Mrs. Cora LIETZE, Watertown, S. D.; and other relatives in the Carrol area."
