"Mrs. Laura HOOKER Dies in Home Of Daughter Here. Mrs. Laura HULL HOOKER, 79, died in the home of a daughter, Miss Louise HOOKER, 2217 Liberty Ave., at 9:45 p.m. yesterday after a lengthy illness. She was born in Longview, Tex., and had lived in Beaumont 45 years. She made her home with her daughter here. Other survivors include three sons, Joe L. HOOKER of Beaumont, Sydney G. HOOKER, Beaumont, and James E. HOOKER of Austin, and eight grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were incomplete last night and will be announced by Carroll-Wallace Funeral Home."
