in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, USA.

Brewery/Brewpub Location Map

Reason for Visit: This was part of a great Pacific Northwest trip that included visits to 21 microbreweries or brewpubs along the way. We stopped at Oregon Fields on a day of driving that included Florence to Coos Bay to Eugene, OR. There were five brewpubs in Eugene that were walking distance from each other!

The Eugene City Brewery was a brewpub added to West Brothers BBQ in 1996. West Brothers closed in the early 2000's. Rogue purchased the building in 2004 and opened a Rogue Ales Public House. They seem to use to Eugene City Brewery name on many of the beers they produce, although it's unrelated to what was there previously, which makes tracing the history of this brewpub difficult.

Eugene City Brewery Sticker Sticker: This Eugene City Brewery sticker promoted their Honey Orange Wheat beer. It features a full-color concentric circle design. The innermost circle is created by an orange on a white background, complete with leaf still attached to stem. It is adorned by barley stalks reaching up diagonally through the design, the name of the beer printed in a white horizontal lettering, and happy-looking cartoonish honey bee offset to the upper-left. The next outer circle features a blue background with white lettering that notes the name of the brewery, and a slogan to describe the beer: "How Sweet It is." A narrow white band completes the design and forms an outer border.

Items featured on these breweriana pages are personal souvenirs of my visits to these locations, and an expression of the events and travels leading to their collection. They are not for sale or for trade.
