I have visited McGuire's Irish Pub & Brewery,
in Pensacola, Escambia County, Florida, USA.

Brewery/Brewpub Location Map

Reason for Visit: I was in Pensacola on business. McGuire's is an institution. We arrived before 6:00 on a Tuesday, on a cold rainy day in the middle of winter, and the place was already packed. Often when a well-established restaurant decides to add a brewery the beer becomes a marketing gimmick and an afterthought. We were quite pleasantly surprised to find that this wasn't the case at McGuire's. The beer was quite good, and even more so considering the lack of decent product in the Florida panhandle in general. McGuire's obviously puts some genuine effort and emphasis into their brewing operation. The restaurant is massively large and dollar bills have been stapled by patrons on every ceiling surface. McGuire's claims that there are a million bills hanging from the rafters. There is also one other interesting surprise that I won't spoil. This is quite a unique place.

McGuire's Irish Pub & Brewery Sampler Glass Glassware: The McGuire's Irish Pub & Brewery sampler glass features a rendition of their building along with some identifying information and the slogan "one of America's great steakhouses." It is printed in emerald green ink on clear glass. There is nothing here to note that this is also a brewpub but that's not McGuire's claim-to-fame so that would be superfluous. McGuire's offers an entire room filled with hundreds of different logo merchandise for sale. The average McGuire's patron would probably consider this a shot glass, but this was indeed they type of glass they used when we ordered samplers.
