I have visited Orlando Brewing,
in Orlando, Orange County, Florida, USA.

Reason for Visit: I was in town for business. Florida in general and Orlando in particular has little in the way to offer in the way of decent beer. Orlando Brewing, however, is a wonderful exception. It is an oasis of quality beverages and it's worth seeking out in an otherwise desolate landscape.

Exterior: First thing to note, Orlando Brewing is a microbrewery not a brewpub. It's set in a light industrial area in what amounts to a large corrugated metal shed. The entrance to the tasting room is a little nicer though, and leaves no doubt that you've reached the right place even though it may not necessarily appear so as one drives up to the entrance. They were doing quite a nice Happy Hour business. |

Orlando Brewing Taps: Inside is completely different and it takes on the appearance of a typical pub. I sat at the bar across from the numerous taps of Orlando Brewing beer. It distinguishes itself by using organic materials, and the results are apparent from the numerous medals and awards hanging above the taps. |

Sampler: I ordered a sampler, of course. They were generous pours and there were many different styles to try. Notice also the hand-pulled pumps in the background. I don't recall any cask ales available during my visit but this certainly indicates that my timing must have been slightly off. I'd love to come back someday and try them out. Orlando Brewing will be on my return-visit list. There's little else available in Orlando that can even begin to compare. |
