Reason for Visit: We were vacationing in Northern Utah, with stops in Salt Lake City, Ogden, Provo, Park City and Bear Lake. This area of Utah has a surprising number of brewpubs given the state's tea-totaling reputation. We stopped at the preponderance of them.

Exterior: Roosters Brewing has a prime location along Ogen's historic 25th Street. This is a strip of shops and restaurants in lovingly-restored buildings that look just like the stereotype of what an "Old West" town should be. Street parking is abundant because the area is laid-out for front-end rather than parallel parking so that shouldn't be a problem. |

Growler: Roosters Brewing sells growlers for those who wish to take some beer to-go. It's a fairly typical half-gallon brown bottle. The front side incudes the brewery's logo, a rooster holding a stalk of barley in his mouth. |

Interior: The buildings along historic 25th Street may invoke the Old West, but the interior of Roosters Brewing is thoroughly modern in appearance. One arrives at the bar upon entering the brewpub, a long hardwood expanse set in front of large glass windows onto the brewhouse where the gleaming stainless steel of the equipment sits in plain view. We sat in a dining room that was through a doorway to the right of this photo. |
