I have visited Shenandoah Brewing Company,
in Alexandria, Virginia, USA.

Reason for Visit: I was in the area. Shenandoah Brewing wasn't actually located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, but in a suburb of Washington, DC -- the city of Alexandria, VA specifically. It was primarily a Brew-on-Premise place. Additionally they had a small pub and made some of their own beers too.

Glassware: This Shenandoah Brewing Company mug features the brewery's logo printed in green on clear glass. The central image is a depiction of the Shenandoah River running along the the Blue Ridge Mountains of western Virginia. The name of the brewery arcs across the top of the image in a large font and continues to arc below the image in a smaller font. It is flanked on the left and right sides by barley stalks. Further identifying information can be fond at the very bottom of the image along with a seal featuring their initials. While the Shenandoah definitely runs through Virginia, this seems like an unusual name for the brewery since it's location in Alexandria is at least an hour drive from its namesake. |
