Reason for Visit: We have family in the area. Milwaukee is famous for beer, and it's nice to know that in addition to the mass-marketed product there are some good brewpubs and microbreweries. Water Street has been around for quite some time, having opened its doors in 1987.

Front of Coaster: The Water Street Brewery Coaster is printed in two colors on a white background. Yes, this particular coaster is well-loved but it's the only one I was able to grab. The building that houses Water Street dominates the center of the design in red. A wide-banded blue circle contains the name of the brewery rests around this. The edge twice proclaims that the location of the brewpub is in Milwaukee. This particular coaster was well-loved. |

Front of Coaster: This Water Street Brewery Coaster commemorates the brewery's 20th anniversary, 1987-2007. Oddly enough I collected this one in 2008 so there must have still been some in stock. The central figure appears to be an elf-like character sitting atop the rim of beer barrel, with a large stein and opened pewter top in his hands, raised to his lips for a drink. The name of the brewery as well as its special commemoration ring the border band. It's all done in a style that evokes late 19th century advertising. |

Glassware: This pilsner glass has an interesting twist in that it has a base with a stem. It contains the same logo as the coaster. |

Matchbook: The familiar Water Street logo also appears on the matchbook, along with the street address. It notes that the brewpub is also a restaurant and deli. |
